Ransomware and other cyber-attacks continue to rise and the pressure for cyber
resiliency strategies and methodologies continue to increase. The implementation
of Cyber Vaults can vary in complexity. Whether it is a simple local copy or
complex GDPS environment, every organization will need to be able to recover
from both catastrophic problems and isolated application recovery. Regardless,
it is important to know the state of the data in the immutable copies and also
to be able to surgically recovery data from the immutable copies. This session
will discuss these types of situations and how surgical recovery of data sets
with IBM Z Batch Resiliency can help to overcome this problem when recovering
the system in the Cyber Vault whether you use CSM, GDSP/LCP or zDP.
