SHARE Dallas 2022
In the life of an application developer, there are many lessons learned how to best interact with Db2 for z/OS. This sessions looks at an exemplary set of lessons that were either learned the hard way by breaking existing applications or in a more simple fashion by improving existing applications without causing any 'collateral damage'. The focus of this session is to share best practices on how to achieve high availability and best performance from a local application perspective. Note that this session does not focus on distributed applications connecting remotely to Db2 for z/OS. The session is intended to guide customers to design well performing and highly available applications connecting from z/OS to Db2 for z/OS and is applicable to both DevOps and traditional application development.
