This session will show best practices how to add persistence to your containerized Red Hat OpenShift workload.
We will describe how an application can take advantage of OpenShift Container Storage and how an infrastructure can dynamically add the storage capacity which is needed to fulfill the needs.
This session will include recommendations how to plan for your OpenShift Container Storage environment and how to setup actual storage for varying demands. This includes considerations on how to take best advantage of the characteristics IBM Z and LinuxONE and make a hybrid cloud solution reality.
The session will include:
- overview of the solution topology (how things fit together)
- best practices for building a OCP and OCS based solution
- How to include and add physical storage to OCP / OCS
- Demo how to build and operate a containerized application which includes persistence managed by OCS
