IMS recently announced that in addition to accessing IMS transactions with REST APIs, the new IMS DB Service Provider in z/OS Connect EE enables direct access to databases. This session focuses on the new support and how it can be enabled and leveraged to access IMS data resources. It will also discuss how the IMS Explorer for Development can assist in building and testing SQL queries that can then be used in the creation of an API request.-Kenny Blackman-IBM Corporation
